Materials Management Tech
Overview
Reviews supply orders and accurately gathers and delivers supplies to appropriate departments.
Responsibilities
-
Maintains assigned inventory location: includes inventory replenishment, inventory rotation and proper disposal of empty boxes.

Performs cycle counts.

Monitors stock-outs and shortages.
- Restocks IV carts on all assigned floors.
Qualifications
High school Graduate. One year experience in a supply or hospital environment. Preference for experience with medical/surgical supplies or completion of medical terminology course. Must have basic math and keyboard skills. Must be able to learn and retain a basic knowledge of automated inventory systems and medical equipment and supplies. Ability to adjust to performing multiple functions at a demanding pace. Must be able to lift and carry articles up to 25 pounds. Must push or pull carts with supplies or equipment totaling 70 pounds.
