SUMMARY: Primary responsibility is the management and supervision of the evaluation, procurement, storage, and distribution of all supplies and equipment for the Baxter Health System companies. The Director will oversee the daily operations of the Purchasing Office, Storeroom, and coordinates Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts (with Premier Purchasing Contracts) and the Materials Management computer systems.
BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Dynamic Health and Health Stream Policy Manager.
Required to work with the Chief Financial Officer regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Materials Management Department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of related work experience, previous leadership and healthcare experience preferred.
Certification: Certified Materials and Resources Professional preferred
Other: Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Work and other computer applications. Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and conscientious to ensure high quality work. Excellent time-management and follow-up skills to ensure work deadlines are met. Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Must be a positively contributing team player and possess willingness to be cross-trained in other functional areas.

Work schedule, 5 days a week, Monday – Friday, 40+ hours per week.
