SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable delivery of patient meal trays, stock unit pantries, and maintain sanitation. Must be able to communicate by scripting, follow patient safety procedures and communicate with the patient, nursing, guest, diet office and other staff members. Adhere to Food Service standards of care and promoting a team effort among co-workers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent or minimum score of Bronze on the Career Readiness Certification (“CRC”) certificate. If interested in obtaining CRC register as a Job Seeker at www.ARJob Link.Arkansas.gov.
Experience: Food service experience preferred.
Certifications: Must take the Serve Safe Food Handling Course within 3 months of employment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to perform the following: Must have the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, to solve problems and make decisions. Spend little time in front of computer, monitor or similar screen utilizing keyboard and/or mouse, daily. Ability to stand/walk, bend/squat/twist, and occasionally lift up to 30lbs and push a cart up to 35 lbs. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
