Delivery Driver
Overview
The successful candidate will drive delivery truck in a courteous professional manner to various FHC Dr's offices, FHC hospitals and contract accounts. Responsible for timely and efficient distribution of linen.
Unload clean linen carts and deliver them to designated areas or dept's on a time-scheduled basis.
Load soiled linen carts onto truck, return to Laundry and off load soiled linen carts on a time-scheduled basis.
Work closely with designated person at assiged accounts making sure all needs/concerns are taken care of.
Role requires physical stamina as you will be required to lift and carry heavy bags of laundry/linen. The ability to work where physical exertion is necessary, including walking, standing, bending, lifting, etc.
Qualifications: High School graduate or GED preferred. Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license with a good driving record and two years of driving experience. Must be able to transport and move large volumes of clean and soiled linen carts.
