Key Qualifications:

• Perform a variety of food service functions to ensure quality food, hospitality and service to guests in your assigned work area.
• Monitor daily staff activities to ensure job duties are accurately completed.
• Work in partnership with the Gift Shop manager for purchasing, employee feedback and customer satisfaction.
• Act as a keyholder as scheduled on weekdays, rotating weekends and rotating holidays.
• Set up, maintain and break down a workstation; including equipment, serving ware, utensils, supplies, and food items, so that station(s) are ready for meal service.
• Lead by example in fostering a welcoming experience for all staff and customers in the Gift Shop.
• Understand and comply with all food safety policies and procedures.
• Prepare or serve food & beverages to guests, transact purchases utilizing a POS system and/or perform cleaning duties following sanitation procedures.

Core Skills:

• Calculate basic math functions.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Carry and push heavy equipment up to 30lbs to various locations.
• Food service, customer service, or cash handling experience required.
• Prior experience with retail merchandising, floor sets and inventory management.

Work Hours:

Full time opportunity that involves varying schedules, rotating weekend and rotating holidays. The Gift Shop is open Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 8.00pm; Weekends and Holidays from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
