Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Pediatric Nursery)

Job Summary:
As a Labor and Delivery Nurse specializing in the Pediatric Nursery, you will be responsible for providing care to newborns and infants during childbirth and the immediate postpartum period. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the health and safety of both mother and baby during this critical time.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Monitor and assess the condition of newborns and infants immediately following birth
Assist with breastfeeding and bonding between mother and baby
Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary
Provide education and support to parents on newborn care
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal outcomes for mother and baby

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid RN license with a specialization in labor and delivery nursing
BLS and NRP certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
