Sanitation Labor Weekday: 10:00pm - 7:00am

Sanitation Labor Weekend:

Thursday & Friday - 10:00pm - 7:00am

Saturday & Sunday: 6:00pm - 6:00am

General Job Description:

This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks:

Sanitors will support the nightly cleaning operation for a Tyson Foods production facility.

Must be willing and able to Break down and reassemble production equipment
Must be willing and able to Move Production Floor Equipment, Tables, and Bins to accomodate cleaning process.
Must be willing and able to Pressure Washing Production Lines
Must be willing and able to Soap and Scrub Equipment
Must be willing and able to Sweep/Squeegee Floors
Must be willing and able to stand, walk, stretch, bend, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat and reach.
Must be willing and able to lift, push and carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area ranging from 15 – 50 pounds).
Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines; must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; must be willing to be cross trained and moved to other areas as needed and must be willing and able to stand for 8 – 12 hours per day on hard floors in extreme hot or cold environments ranging from 50 to 120 degrees.

Requirements:

Prior experience is not required. Must have effective communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
