MLR is excited to seek a full-time, permanent Nurse Manager to lead our client’s Labor and Delivery unit at a premier healthcare facility near Albuquerque, NM!
Key Responsibilities for Nurse Manager – Labor and Delivery:
Oversee daily operations of the Labor and Delivery unit, upholding top standards for patient care and safety.
Lead and mentor a team of nurses, cultivating a collaborative and supportive environment.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures that align with healthcare regulations and industry best practices.
Monitor quality metrics and patient outcomes, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Handle staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital standards and protocols.
Qualifications for Nurse Manager – Labor and Delivery:
Active RN license in New Mexico.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; a Master’s in Nursing (MSN) is an advantage.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
ACLS and CPR certifications required; NRP certification is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
