Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides guidance alongside helpdesk resources in supporting the userbase of the company. Is accountable to the Global Director of Support for all support requests that originate from the helpdesk activity.
Steer the delivery of telecom projects, centering on solutions that substantially improve the end-user experience within broader business initiatives
Builds reporting metrics from the telecom and helpdesk software to drive accountability throughout the department on helpdesk related goals
Drive the enhancement of telecom processes, concentrating on the implementation of analytics that provide meaningful insights into user experience
Oversee the upkeep of a sturdy IT infrastructure, emphasizing network stability to deliver seamless user experience
Strategically liaise with internal and external stakeholders to relay helpdesk project progress, actions, and achievements, especially those improving user experience
Govern server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, and resource monitoring, to assure a steady and reliable user experience
Monitor the health of the data center using preexisting management tolls, rapidly addressing hardware issues as they emerge, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users
Lead the maintenance of internal infrastructure, such as computers, servers, and networking hardware, to guarantee optimal end-user access and experience
As a senior figure in the helpdesk team, collaborate intensively with other teams to expedite troubleshooting processes, identify root causes, and provide advanced technical support to end-users as needed
Conduct regular audits of the systems, ensuring the security and reliability of the systems with which the end-users interact
Oversee the completion of other support-oriented tasks and responsibilities as delegated by senior management
Education/Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science preferred
Proven work experience in IT
Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure)
Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
Creating volumes, assigning to servers and remote replication
