Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the upkeep of essential and non-essential IT operations, ensuring smooth end-user experience across operating systems, applications, and hardware
Assist in project delivery, with a focus on solutions that improve the end-user experience within larger business initiatives
Support critical IT tasks that directly impact the end-user experience in a complex business environment
Contribute to the enhancement of business processes, focusing on implementing analytics that provide meaningful insights into user experience
Assist in maintaining a reliable IT infrastructure, focusing on network stability to provide a seamless end-user experience
Work closely with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements, particularly those impacting user experience
Support server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, and resource monitoring, to ensure a smooth and reliable user experience
Assist in monitoring data center health using preexisting management tools, respond to hardware issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to the end users
Support the maintenance of internal infrastructure, including computers, servers, networking hardware, ensuring optimal end-user access and experience
As a member of the help desk team, work within your team and with other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify the root cause, and provide technical support to end users when needed
Participate in routine/scheduled audits of the systems, ensuring that the systems that the end-users interact with are secure and reliable
Carry out other support-focused tasks and duties assigned by management.
Education/Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science preferred
Proven work experience in IT
Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure)
Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
Creating volumes, assigning to servers and remote replication
