Cleans and maintains the appearance of the FOH and BOH casino areas, restrooms, outer buildings, RV Park, and other areas as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleans trash cans and ash trays
- Vacuums carpeted areas
- Sweeps and mops tile, brick, and concrete areas
- Picks up dirty cups and glasses on the casino floor
- Polishes furniture and fixtures
- Operates equipment necessary to perform job functions to include sky lift, ladders, and floor cleaning equipment
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
Preferred
- One year previous experience with floor machines and cleaning equipment
- One year experience in the operation of heavy cleaning equipment
General knowledge of cleaning chemicals
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, and stoop while performing essential job functions
- Stand and walk for up to eight hours
- No known allergic reaction to cleaning chemicals
- Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
- Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
- Respond to visual and aural cues
- Must have basic English communication skills
- Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
Must be able to meet the level three or medium work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly
