Performs the duties of the count team including slot drop, and coin redemption. Sorts, counts, wraps, and records the contents of game drop boxes, bill validator boxes, and various property outlet revenues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
Sorts, counts, wraps, and records the contents of game drop boxes, bill validator boxes, and other revenue from various property outlets according to set procedures
Responsible for the general upkeep of the count room
Notifies Count Supervisor of malfunctioning equipment
Responsible for counting and recording of slot drop according to set procedures
Prepares bank deposit of coin and wraps bank purchases of coin
Responsible for daily reports, minor repairs and maintenance of count room equipment
Transfers carts to and from the main bank to the vault in the cage
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies and encourages others to do the same
Other duties as assigned by Count Supervisor and/or Casino Controller
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: Required
Must be 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Basic computer skills
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include all shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
Must present a well-groomed appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
Basic mathematic proficiency
Must be able to work individually as well as get along with co-workers and work as a team
A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
Preferred
Prior Count Room (casino/bank) and 10-key experience
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
Must be able to stand for extended periods (8 hour shifts)
Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations
Must be able to tolerate areas of secondary smoke
Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel and grip items as necessary
Must be able to distinguish colors
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Must be able to operate in a confined area
Must be able to meet the level three or medium work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
