Responsible for giving the highest level of guest service while helping to maintain the quality of the daily golf operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and enthusiastically provide each group with the course conditions, cart path rules, tee yardages, and any other pertinent information
- Provide golf cars that are clean, safe, and properly prepared with a towel, full sand bottle, pencil, scorecard and tees. Cleaning procedures will be in line with recommended CDC guidelines.
- Keep accurate track of golfers start times as needed
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of services for golf tournaments.
- Responsible for providing continuous detailing and maintenance to the golf course and equipment (golf cars, workstation, practice range, first tee appearance).
- Assist guest as they depart from the facility, cleaning golf clubs as necessary or as requested
- Work with Pro Shop staff to ensure that all club rules including dress code and beverage policies are followed by Guests.
- Responsible for keeping cart barn, clubs, bags and storage bins in a clean, orderly condition. Cleaning procedures will be in line with recommended CDC guidelines.
- Returns all equipment to the designated location at the facility.
- Performs light custodial operations such as sweeping, mopping, washing equipment and collecting trash as needed. Cleaning procedures will be in line with recommended CDC guidelines.
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
- Functions as a Pro Shop Attendant as needed
Other duties as assigned by Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills
- Must have knowledge of the game of golf
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
- Must be able to work independently and function as a member of a team
A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
Preferred
High school graduate or equivalent
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk or sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to frequently climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach.
- Must have close visual acuity in order to operate equipment.
Must be able to work outdoors under conditions ranging from extreme hot to extreme cold.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (golf bag) and frequently up to 20 lbs using proper lifting techniques
