Job Summary
To provide everything that is needed to ensure the highest quality of customer service and coffee shop guest experience to the Students, Faculty and Staff Hennepin Technical College.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Six (6) months food service work experience.
- Six (6) months cashiering experience.
- Superior customer service skills and initiative to deliver the best service possible to students, staff and members of the community.
- Ability to take and follow through with tasks as instructed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to move carts, transport boxes up to 40lbs.
- Assist with daily and weekly deliveries, stocking and rotating items to insure freshness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) years’ food preparation and customer service/cashiering experience.
- One (1) years’ previous coffee shop experience.
- Experience closing cash drawers and creating deposits.
- Experience creating, recommending and maintaining procedures and standards for a coffee shop.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitation standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
