Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience managing Environmental Health and Safety systems, in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in environmental inspection technologies, equipment, and Microsoft Office Suite
Duties:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE programs and procedures to ensure full compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and company standards
- Serve as ISO14001 Environmental Management Representative, responsible for maintaining certification and acting as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies
- Conduct incident investigations, maintain safety statistics, and recommend corrective actions to address problem areas
- Lead regular facility safety audits, report findings, and ensure timely resolution of any discrepancies
- Design and deliver HSE training for employees and management, including new hire orientation and SDS utilization
- Oversee facility inspections for safety, health, and environmental risks, maintaining records of inspections, incident findings, and employee exposure to hazards
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
