The IT Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the receipt, tracking, and organization of all IT equipment, software, and telecom assets. - Accept, verify, unpack, tag, and process incoming IT shipments, maintaining accurate and undamaged inventory records.
- Manage inventory for all IT equipment, software, and telecom assets, inputting data into the inventory system.
- Create IT purchase orders, obtain quotes, and send approved orders to finance, coordinating with IT management.
- Develop and maintain a renewal calendar for software and hardware maintenance, ensuring timely renewals with finance and procurement staff.
- High school diploma and the ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail in managing IT inventory systems.
- Able to work onsite 5 days a week: M - F,8am - 5pm in Topeka, KS
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs of computer equipment as needed.
- Organizational skills to coordinate renewal processes and maintain inventory accuracy.
