The IT Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the receipt, tracking, and organization of all IT equipment, software, and telecom assets. This role ensures accurate inventory management, coordinates procurement activities, and supports seamless operations by maintaining updated records and renewals.   • Accept, verify, unpack, tag, and process incoming IT shipments, maintaining accurate and undamaged inventory records.
  • Manage inventory for all IT equipment, software, and telecom assets, inputting data into the inventory system.
  • Create IT purchase orders, obtain quotes, and send approved orders to finance, coordinating with IT management.
  • Develop and maintain a renewal calendar for software and hardware maintenance, ensuring timely renewals with finance and procurement staff.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma and the ability to follow directions and work independently.
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail in managing IT inventory systems.
  • Able to work onsite 5 days a week: M - F,8am - 5pm in Topeka, KS
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs of computer equipment as needed.
  • Organizational skills to coordinate renewal processes and maintain inventory accuracy.
Salary: $42,000 - $47,000
