HR Generalist
Our Overland Park based client is looking for an
HR Generalist
who enjoys client facing work and has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with Senior leadership. The right candidate will support the clients wide variety of businesses with their HR questions, and must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will function as a generalist and provide coaching and counsel to small business owners in all areas of HR including employee relations, benefits, training, staffing, compensation, and organizational development.

- Work from Overland Park, Kansas location
Expectations
- Provide coaching and counseling to small business owners
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters
- Diagnose business problems
- Recommend solutions to small business regarding employee relations, benefits, training, staffing, compensation and organizational development
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources required
- 3 years of directly related experience in all areas of Human Resources, including Employee Relations, Training and Development, Staffing, Compensation, Benefits and Organizational Development.
- PHR certification is preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills, including building relationships with senior leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proven experience in group presentations and group facilitation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, HRIS software, and the internet
