Summary: The Director, Supply Chain shall direct and manage the Materials Management functions for Baptist Health. This individual will plan, organize, and direct activities in the areas and services of purchasing, contracting for equipment and supplies, receiving and distribution, maintenance of the Material Management systems, as well as assisting with the Value Analysis process.

Qualifications
Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 7 years of healthcare supply chain experience required. Recent Mc Kesson HEMM experience preferred.
License / Certification required: none

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of savings reporting and 3rd party analytics and benchmarking programs
- Experience with managing a large staff with varying levels of reporting relationships
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional and customer centric composure in difficult or challenging situations.
- Ability to work from broad directions and be self-motivated.
- Ability to prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people of various backgrounds throughout the organization.
- Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to guest, visitors, and patients.
- Knowledge of HIPAA standards and regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively with patients, guest, and hospital personnel.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality.
