INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS:
This position will remain open until filled. An initial screening of applicants will take place at on Monday, September 23, at 8:00 a.m. Applicants who apply after that date will only be screened and/or interviewed if a successful candidate is not selected from the applicant pool that applied prior to that date. An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of the Student Hearings Office at Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) oversees and manages the student disciplinary hearings process. This includes handling all procedures related to student discipline, such as hearings, long-term suspensions, expulsions, readmissions, criminal reassignments, and appeals. The role ensures that all hearings are conducted fairly, consistently, and in accordance with state and federal regulations. This Director works closely with school administrators, legal counsel, and families to resolve disciplinary issues and support student success. This position performs work under the direction of the Associate Superintendent for College, Career, and Student Success.
Job Description
SALARY:
Grade 19: $110,398 - $211,533 per year (competitive benefits)
