Position: Director of Infection Control
State License Accepted: Any state but must apply for Alaska RN License prior to starting
Certifications Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card through AHA or Red Cross, Valid driver's license
Preferred Certifications: A Master’s degree in a related field preferred. Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) preferred. Certified Infection Control and Prevention (CIC) preferred
Experience Requirements:
Nine (9) years of nursing experience
Four (4) years of experience in an acute care or critical care setting
Five (5) years involving employee supervision
An equivalent combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience.
Summary of scope: All IC oversight for hospital and specialty clinics
Reason for role: Coaching and growth for current Director
Dates of coverage: ASAP for 3 months
