Position Summary
The Digital Strategist works collaboratively with internal teams and clients to develop and implement strategic omni-channel marketing campaigns that drive growth and brand awareness.
This role involves the planning, implementation, execution, and comprehensive analysis of digital campaigns, including SEO, SEM, Social Media, Content Marketing, and more. Working closely with the digital team, the Digital Strategist will ensure tasks are completed on time to achieve our clients’ marketing objectives with measurable results.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and/or consult on marketing strategies for clients based on their goals and budgets including recommended digital tactics, platforms, frequency, spend, target audiences, and most effective content.
  • Work in coordination with the digital team to execute and manage paid search, social, and retargeting campaigns.
  • Create campaign reports to include website, email, social media, and paid search results and provide insights and recommendations into campaign optimizations.
  • Interact with clients in meetings or online to help them interpret and understand their data.
  • Attend and participate in client meetings and new-client onboarding meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate with web development to ensure appropriate tags are in place to track campaign attribution.
  • Develop automated Google Analytics reports and applicable dashboards and provide insight into website and campaign performance.
  • Provide SEO reports and conduct keyword and competitor research with insights and recommendations to optimize websites.
  • Research and remain current on issues related to tracking and recommend 3rd party tracking solutions to improve 1st touch attribution visibility.
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Marketing Strategists, and Copywriters to understand client goals, industry, and target audiences.
  • Assist in the growth and efficiency of digital marketing capabilities for Ocozzio teams through research, education, and action.
  • Continuously work to expand our digital capabilities focused on B2B opportunities for client retention and growth.
  • Coordinate with the digital team and other Ocozzio departments as needed to ensure best practices are followed and appropriate marketing tools and platforms are leveraged, including Hub Spot, SEMRush, Google Analytics, Linked In, Meta, etc.
  • Mentor, train, and assist Jr. Digital Strategists by providing guidance and support for their development and mastery of skills and capabilities.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of tracking/tagging and attribution options, barriers, and solutions.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, website accessibility.
  • Email marketing campaign development using platforms including Constant Contact, Hub Spot, and Act On a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications or similar field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Digital Marketing to include implementation of paid search, display, retargeting and social media campaigns.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience using Google tag manager.
  • Advanced Google Analytics experience including creation of reports, and dashboards.
  • Advanced experience using Hub Spot, Loomly, Google tag manager, Linked In.
  • G4, Hub Spot, Google Analytics certifications expertise a plus.
  • Experience in the health insurance industry a plus.

Working Conditions:
  • The majority of work is completed in an office setting with intermittent sitting, standing and walking.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Travel to visit clients or conferences a possibility.
  • Standard office hours for the business are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm EST and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm EST.
  • Office based employees are expected to work 4 days in office and may work from home one day a week after 3 months of employment.
  • Remote based employees may have intermittent travel to the Augusta office location based on business need.
