Duties and Responsibilities
- This position performs investigative, support payment control, financial monitoring and accounting for child support orders;
- Investigates cases in arrears;
- Determines and initiates actions judged to be appropriate; and applying applicable regulations and laws.
- Extensive utilization of a statewide Automated Case Tracking System (ACTS) in addition to various other electronic interface computer systems.
- Testifies in court proceedings.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Position requires good organization and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the general public. Previous Child Support Enforcement experience preferred.
Desired Education and Experience
Successful candidate must possess a four year college degree or Associates Degree in Business Administration or Paralegal together with one (1) year experience in investigative, eligibility, judiciary or legal work; or a High School Diploma with two (2) years experience in investigative, eligibility, judiciary or legal work.
