Job Title: Brinkerhoff Hospitality Sales & Marketing Manager
Job Location: Denver, Colorado
Salary: $75,000/year + commission

About Us:
Brinkerhoff Hospitality is a Denver based restaurant company. Our current concepts, La Loma, Sierra and Caldero are a few of Denver’s most well-known and established restaurants. Currently under construction is La Loma Parker, La Loma DTC, Bar Hummingbird and Brinkerhoff.
Event Sales Manager Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver
  • Proven track record of event sales growth
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal, etc.)
  • Have strong knowledge and understanding of the organization's products and service standards.
  • Ability to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of increasing revenues, controlling costs, providing a return on investment while consistently delivering a high level of service.
  • Broad Knowledge of/Experience in Event Planning and Execution
  • Deep experience with Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, You Tube, Snapchat and other major social platforms.
  • Experience crafting press releases
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms/publishing & community management software such as Sprout, Hootsuite, Sendible, Buffer or similar.
  • Comfortable diving into analytics and presenting results.
  • High integrity and accountability, effectively prioritizing to meet and exceed deadlines with high quality, error-free work
Event Sales Manager Job Duties
  • Manages the execution of all aspects of events to include planning, day to day coordination and exit strategies.
  • Strong focus on establishing strategies and objectives to develop and grow event and catering sales
  • Develop, implement and constantly modify sales action plans.
  • Maintain monthly reports tracking sales, guests, average sales per order, etc…
  • Prospect for new contract business using a wide variety of methods including phone calls, outside sales calls, attending community functions, internet prospecting, supplier partnerships, trade journals, etc.
  • Enthusiastically cultivate and retain business for group and private events
  • Respond to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage all phone and email communication pertaining to special events in the restaurant
  • Conduct on-site meetings and visits with potential clients, acting as the ambassador of the restaurant and events space
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with the restaurant’s Senior Manager and Culinary Manager
  • Manages client’s budgets to maximize revenue and meet client’s needs.
  • Works in tandem with Operations Team to ensure flawless execution for ALL events. This includes all communication on any changes/updates to events and any specific needs for a successful event based on the client’s expectations.
  • Facilitates various meetings as he/she perceives necessary (Banquet Event Order meeting, block review, etc).
  • Foster relationship with our guests through thank you letters, follow-up calls, seeking feedback on events and catering orders, and requesting referrals
  • Be the primary point of contact for all guests; assist guests in building their events: budgeting, menu selections, floor plans, etc...
  • Resolve guest complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management
  • Assist in the development of manager training for onsite events and caterings
  • Follow company policies and standards and hold staff accountable to do the same
  • Plan and manage marketing campaigns throughout the year to achieve the marketing objectives and build brand equity
  • Oversee day-to-day activity for approved content plans.
  • Understands and stays ahead of the curve on best practices for common digital channels; which content and approaches work on each and why
  • Execute and moderate social media campaigns across platforms.
  • Write, develop and execute posts.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor products, sales, and marketing activities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers, strategic partners, media, consultants, contractors, etc.
