This position works closely with insurance agents and brokers (our customers) in the binding of insurance, servicing of policies, and review/follow-up of underwriting information. The position encourages and creates opportunities for growth so team members can develop their insurance acumen for long term company advancement. Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and professionally handle all customer inquiries within our service promise with a focus on quality and efficiency
Strengthen customer relationships by providing excellent service through frequent phone and email communication
Work collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure best possible outcome for all inquiries while minimizing touches and providing excellent customer service
Evaluate applications, web search results and business quoted via the web
Work within underwriting authority and obtain underwriter approval when necessary
Apply critical thinking and underwriting mindset to all accounts
Pursue opportunities for growth and development through USLI University, continuing education, workshops and classes
Communicate ideas for procedural or workflow improvement
Complete departmental specific reports or projects
Assist in training new team members when ready

Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
Strong commitment to customer service and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a fast paced team environment
Desire to learn and understand our insurance product offerings
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience
Property/Casualty insurance experience
History of continuing insurance education preferred
