This role is an 8-9 week internship with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment
Internship and full-time employment are both fully in-office
Hours: 8am to 4pm, with flexibility to start as late as 9am and end by 5pm
Target Start Date: June 2025
Estimated Salary: $60,000/year

Essential Tasks - In this job, you will:
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of trade support and core operational functions, including the business areas, products, and activities supported
Assist in every step of an audit, including documentation across scoping, planning, fieldwork and reporting
Assist in documenting walkthroughs with stakeholders for control design assessments and present results of work performed to management
Carry out audit testing to ensure audit fieldwork is focused on the right areas and documentation meets high quality standards
Follow-up on open audit issues and their resolutions
Participate in department-wide initiatives aimed at continually improving Internal Audit's processes and supporting infrastructure
Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including global colleagues, regulators, and external audit
Maintain internal client relationships and regular interaction with the business to assess changes in the control environment and other matters arising in the business

Digital/Technical Skills - In this job you will demonstrate:
Intermediate data management skills (such as transferring information, using basic formulas, creating charts/graphs, VLOOKUP, pivot tables) using Microsoft Excel
Education/Knowledge - In this job you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant discipline
Knowledge of Global Banking & Markets and related operational support functions. Examples include, but are not limited to:
Prime brokerage, securities lending, and execution services
Trade processing, clearing, and settlement
Asset servicing, client onboarding, and regulatory operations
A relevant certification or industry accreditation (such as CIA, CFA, or CISA) is a nice to have but not required
Experience - In this job you need to have:
Experience with the following are all nice to have but not required:
Executing integrated business and technology audits
Auditing operations functions within an investment bank or other financial services company
Using data analytics in audits
