Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to support our Glen Burnie team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth office operations and providing administrative and logistics assistance to all teams at the location. This role is the “face” of the organization and requires someone who can be onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am through 5pm. Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally and courteously.
Greet and assist on-site visitors, ensuring proper sign-in procedures and coordination with appropriate personnel.
Provide general administrative support, including copying, filing, and data entry.
Assist with logistics documentation, such as shipping labels, invoices, and bills of lading.
Prepare and send outgoing correspondence, including mail and courier packages.
Maintain organized office records and support supply chain processes as needed.
Track and update records for shipments, orders, suppliers, and customers in the company’s logistics system.
Coordinate shipping pickups and deliveries (Fed Ex, UPS) for various departments.
Support the Import and Export Teams with processing Original Bills of Lading and generating reports.
Enter and track payments in Pay Cargo and provide related reports.
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a reception or customer-service-related role, with prior administrative experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with logistics software is an asset.
Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
Organization: Excellent time-management skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform office tasks such as sitting, bending, and crouching, walking.

Salary Range: $20.20 to $24.04 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
As a Non-Exempt position, you will be eligible for Overtime for hours worked over 40 in a workweek at 1.5 times your hourly rate.
