Large Suffolk County healthcare facility is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist with clerical duties. We are looking to hire a dynamic individual to assist both the Human Resources and Staffing Coordinator. They will be responsible for all facets of HR administrative tasks, data entry, payroll assistance and clerical functions. They will be professional, friendly, and confident. There is no task too big or too small. This position requires good organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team. We are looking for a candidate who is thorough, detailed, and customer service oriented. This individual must be professional as they will be handling confidential and extremely sensitive/time sensitive information. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Accurately processes all employee requests into HR system –high volume of data entry
Assists with time and attendance data entry
Assists with HR audits: benefits, I-9, retention, etc.
Maintains digital and physical files
Handles office correspondence and maintains calendar
Administrative assistance to , as needed
Assists with new hire orientations; enters personnel into clocks, creates ID badges
Handles monthly recertification of Nursing Assistants
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Strong Microsoft Office skills required
Excellent demonstrated follow up skills & attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
Strong relationship building skills-must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of staff
Demonstrated adaptability and ability to manage change
Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage- Paid vacation time and sick time, Paid holidays- 401k Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm. Position is a full-time, in office role. Compensation: TBD based on experience. Job Type: Full-time
