Job Summary
Closely collaborates with the Management in directing, coordinating and exercising functional authority for all, initiating, planning, Executing, Monitoring & control, integration, and closing of the civil projects within his area of assigned authority.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Monitors and directs, in collaboration with his PMT, (Project Management Team), all site activities to ensure objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.
o Assess and reviews the project Key Performance Indicators to determine accurate status of project, making tactical decisions for allocating resources, and assigning staff requirements, to maintain project on target.
o Manage changes to Engineering scope and assist in obtaining written client approval on all changes before proceeding with work
o Prepares reports for corrective actions if project becomes behind schedule or overspends budget and presents to General Manager with recovery plan.
o reviews periodic status reports prepared by PMT Managers. Prepares and presents
o Actively involved in preparing and controlling for Project Quality Plan (PQP),
internal / External auditing, Inspection Testing Plan (ITP). Prepare and present reports for management, including monthly summary report.
o Ensure optimum utilization of resources & maximization of productivity to
improve project margins and enhance bottom line revenue.
o Preparing manpower histogram as per project duration, maintaining surveillance of labor performance, manpower allocation & effective use of tools, equipment & machinery.
o Complies with all statutory requirements connected with the implementation of project.
o Ensure proper closeout of project including transmittal of final documentation to client.
o Complies with the highest level of safety during all stages of project execution to avoid any type of accidents.
o WORK EXPERIENCE:
With Minimum 15 years experience in the civil constructions specifically with Industrial, commercial and residential Building works.
OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
o Must have proven leadership ability, communications skills, interpersonal skills and sound judgement.
o Must be able to develop strong relationships and accounts with clients. A creative thinker and excellent organiser. Excellent Oral and written skill in English.
ACADEMIC EDUCATION:
o Bachelor /Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university
CERTIFICATIONS:
o Preferably PMP qualified.
LICENSES: Preferably Licensed Engineer
Availability: Immediately available candidates will be preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month

Experience:

• working as Project Manager in UAE: 10 years (Preferred)
