Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, engineer, test, release and launch cutting edge Motion Planning and Control features for autonomous driving vehicles
- Develop motion planner and vehicle controller for 4-wheeled vehicles based on Seoul Robotics’ cutting edge 3D perception technology
- Deploy developed algorithms to the software products and optimise through simulation and real-vehicle tests.
- Work closely with internal and external business stakeholders to adapt/test/deploy the developed product through real-world projects
Qualifications
- A MS or a Ph.D. degree or equivalent job experiences in Vehicle Motion Planning and/or Control
- Expertise in classical and modern control design and implementation, familiarity with different approaches such as LQR, MPC, Adaptive, Robust and PID controllers, etc.
- Experience in vehicle control with CAN protocol or equivalent software interfaces
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Excellent communication skills
Preferences
- Knowledge of applicable safety standards and regulations, industry benchmark and customer requirements
- Experience or knowledge of Functional Safety concepts
- Familiar with typical software build and deployment process
- Proficient in object-oriented design
