Responsibilities

Design, prototype, engineer, test, release and launch cutting edge Motion Planning and Control features for autonomous driving vehicles
Develop motion planner and vehicle controller for 4-wheeled vehicles based on Seoul Robotics’ cutting edge 3D perception technology
Deploy developed algorithms to the software products and optimise through simulation and real-vehicle tests.
Work closely with internal and external business stakeholders to adapt/test/deploy the developed product through real-world projects

Qualifications

A MS or a Ph.D. degree or equivalent job experiences in Vehicle Motion Planning and/or Control
Expertise in classical and modern control design and implementation, familiarity with different approaches such as LQR, MPC, Adaptive, Robust and PID controllers, etc.
Experience in vehicle control with CAN protocol or equivalent software interfaces
Proficiency in C++ and Python
Excellent communication skills

Preferences

Knowledge of applicable safety standards and regulations, industry benchmark and customer requirements
Experience or knowledge of Functional Safety concepts
Familiar with typical software build and deployment process
Proficient in object-oriented design
