Field Test Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles

Responsibilities

Manage and conduct hands-on testing of autonomous driving systems on test vehicles in various environments and scenarios
Create detailed test plans based on system requirements, covering all aspects of functionality, performance, and safety
Monitor test activities, analyze data for potential risks, and provide detailed reports on findings and issues
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify optimal testing methods and address any system failures or issues
Compare real-world vehicle test results against simulations to ensure consistency and accuracy

Qualifications

BSc/MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in creating and executing test plans for software and hardware systems
Proficiency with the Linux operating system
Familiarity with automotive systems (CAN, V2X, Sensors) and computer hardware
Strong proficiency in testing methods and tools, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent technical communication skills, both oral and written, in English
Experience with real-vehicle testing
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong interest in autonomous driving technology
Valid driving license
