Description:
- Managing food costs and stock rotations and quality control
- Managing guest experience during meals
- Stocktakes and orders
- Menu planning and menu options creation
- Issuing out stock to relevant departments
- Compiling weekly reports for management
- Hosting and servicing guests during shifts
- Very hands on approach by means of assisting the butlers with setting up meal tables and clearing after services etc
- Ensuring food presentation, quality etc is provided to guests timorously and consistently
- Kitchen hygiene
- Assist with guests arrival at the lodge by doing indemnity forms and showing around the lodge
- Assist with guest room check for arrival rooms
- Must have excellent excel and Microsoft office experience
- Nightsbridge knowledge and experience is preferred
- minimum 2 years working experience in the lodge industry (Not necessarily this position specifically)
- Must have drivers license
- Strong leadership skills and management presence about themselves
- Must be able to work independently and use initiative
- R8 000 – R9 000 per month CTC
- Live In
- Meals on duty
- Cycle – 3 weeks on – 1 week off
