Key Responsibilities:
For Him:
- Game Drives & Walks: Lead engaging game drives and bush walks, delivering unforgettable safari experiences to guests.
- Transfers: Manage guest transfers with professionalism and attentiveness.
- Property Maintenance: Ensure the lodge and surrounding areas are well-maintained and in top condition.
- Food & Beverage Service: Assist with the service of food and beverages, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
- Guest Hosting: Welcome and host guests, providing outstanding service and hospitality.
- Staff Training: Support the training and development of junior staff, helping them grow and succeed.
- FGASA Level 2 (NQF4): Must have qualifications in leading trails.
- PDP: Professional Driver’s Permit.
- First Aid Certificate: Current and valid.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in game drives, hospitality, and property management.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, hands-on approach, and guest service abilities.
- Guest Relations: Manage guest experiences, ensuring satisfaction and handling any needs or concerns.
- Administrative Duties: Oversee administrative tasks, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute lodge events to enhance the guest experience.
- Team Management: Lead and support lodge staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Hospitality Experience: Proven track record in a similar role within a luxury lodge environment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong administrative and event coordination abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
- Team Leadership: Ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a similar role within a 5-star lodge.
- Hospitality Qualification: Relevant qualifications in hospitality management.
- Strong Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Adaptability: Comfort in a remote and challenging environment.
- Passion: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
