And now, we’re on the lookout for an Key Account Manager to join us on our journey to create long last connections between the our clients, brands and it's consumers the Kwa Zulu Natal Region. The position is based in Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal. ABOUT THE ROLE The Key Account Manager’s main responsibility is to take full accountability for strategically generating sales under Radio Retail for Spar, on all service offerings provided whilst maintaining relationships with store owners. You will be managing a portfolio of accounts per agreed targets, whilst developing and maintaining good relationships with these accounts. Duties of the Key Account Manager includes (but are not limited to): · Achieving sales targets and completing the sales journey on all product offerings. · Offering strategic/creative solutions to clients. · Seeing all customers at least once over an ten-week period and meeting the required weekly store visits and client call targets · Attend trade shows. · Educating clients on new service offerings and consolidating reports · Creating sales proposals to pitch to clients, updating sales pipeline weekly and preparing sales store plan to discuss with management on a weekly basis. · Submission of an advert brief to studio via the advert platform. · Feedback reporting on sales, including strategy to close sales gaps · Attending both internal and external planned sales training throughout the year BENEFITS · Working with a dynamic and driven team · Commission earning potential! · Company benefits: medical aid, Risk fund, GAP cover and Satrix40 investment contributions REQUIREMENTS
Matric/Grade 12
A diploma or degree in Sales and Marketing would be advantageous
Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ customer relations experience
Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ sales experience is essential
Background in Retail / FMCG is essential
Good communication skills, both written and verbal - English and Afrikaans
Strong sales and account management skills
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies
Ability to meet and exceed targets and goals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM software
Resides in Durban or surrounding areas
