Accounts Assistant
Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is looking for an Accounts Assistant that will provide support to the Finance department by performing a range of accounting tasks for an ultra luxurious Wine Estate.
Experience:
Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Finance
- Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
- Hospitality Experience (advantage)
- Sage Evolution Experience (advantage)
- Intermediate MS Office knowledge
- Intermediate Excel skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Problem solving skills
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses for hotel properties within the collection.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
- Maintain financial records, ensuring they are complete and up to date.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Track and manage budgets, ensuring all financial operations align with company policies.
- Assist with year-end audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Handle vendor and client communications related to financial matters.
- Monitor cash flow and report any discrepancies to the finance manager.
- Support with tax preparation and filing as required.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department.
