Job Title: Key Accounts Manager
Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg
Position Overview: The Key Accounts Manager (KAM) must have filling and packaging experience and will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with our most valuable clients. This role involves understanding client needs, developing strategic account plans, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The KAM will collaborate with internal teams to provide tailored solutions, drive client satisfaction, and identify growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, a strategic mindset, and experience in account management. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets Identify and develop new business opportunities
Provide forecasts and reports to relevant stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers Conduct product presentations
Prepare and finalize commercial offers, adapted to customers specification while proposing additional services when possible
Negotiate contracts and close sales agreements
Develop effective sales campaigns
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Requirements:
Proven track record of sales success in the filling and packaging industry
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong customer service skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
Fluent in English; French & German languages are an advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team Self-motivated and results-driven - Willingness to travel as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, added advantage would be a further degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the filling and packaging industry
Knowledge of filling and packaging machines and related products
Ability to understand and explain technical specifications and features to customers Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
