At this point, Zelh is looking for a Load Coverage, Customer Support Specialist for our third-party logistics company. About our client:

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, acting as the primary point of contact for ongoing coordination and communication
Provide operational support to initiate and cover freight over the long term.
Negotiate rates, contracts, and terms with carriers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels
Coordinate the booking and dispatching of shipments to carriers, considering customer requirements, carrier capacity, and delivery deadline
Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely and accurate pick-up, transit, and delivery
Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the transportation process, such as delays, damages, or service failures
Perform accurate data entry to maintain carrier records and update relevant information
Maintain accurate records of carrier information, contracts, rates, and shipment details
Collaborate with internal teams, including customer service, operations, and warehousing, to ensure seamless coordination and customer satisfaction
Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to transportation and logistics
Provide regular reports and updates on carrier performance, shipment status, and relevant metrics
Working conditions:
Work schedule: Mon-Fr 17:00 - 02:00 CET/ 8 AM to 5 PM PST.

3+ years of experience in such a field
Previous experience managing a small team
Advanced English level
Experience dispatching, tracking/tracing, negotiating rates with carriers
New customer setups
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and use of office equipment
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Competitive, hard-working nature with a strong sense of urgency
Team player with multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
Procurement and carrier onboarding experience will be perfect
