We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Security Officer to assist the Senior Security Officer in maintaining a safe and secure environment within our store. The Security Officer will be responsible for controlling store losses, improving employee awareness of security policies, and ensuring the safety and security of all personnel and assets. This role involves proactive security assessments, investigations, surveillance, and incident management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct observations and assessments to recommend defense plans, countermeasures, and contingency plans to enhance store security.
• Perform investigations and create detailed, conclusive reports regarding security incidents.
• Effectively gather and verify information from various sources, persuading individuals to share relevant details when necessary.
• Accurately write various types of correspondence and reports related to security matters.
• Identify and properly handle incidents involving shoplifters.
• Protect and defend subordinates, employees, and customers when required.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
• Experience: Six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience or training in security.
• Certifications: Training Certificate in Investigation and a Certified Security Professional (CSP) credential are preferred.
