Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to oversee the landscaping operations at The Lind Coron. The ideal candidate will lead a team of landscapers, design and maintain stunning landscapes, ensure the upkeep of gardens and grounds, and contribute to creating a serene and visually appealing environment for our guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Supervise, train, and schedule a team of landscapers and groundskeepers.
· Plan, design, and implement exceptional landscaping projects that enhance the resort's beauty and guest experience.
· Oversee the maintenance and care of plants, lawns, and outdoor areas, ensuring all landscapes are healthy and vibrant.
· Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly landscaping practices, focusing on water conservation, native plant selection, and pest management.
· Manage and maintain landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
· Assist in developing and managing the landscaping budget, ensuring cost efficiency and quality.
· Ensure all landscaping activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
· Address guest inquiries and concerns related to the resort's landscapes, providing knowledgeable and friendly service.
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of plant care, gardening techniques, and landscaping best practices.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift heavy objects as required.
· Proficient in using landscaping equipment and tools.
· Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Commitment to environmental sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
Qualifications
· Degree or certification in horticulture, landscape design, or related field is a plus.
Experience
· Experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel;
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in landscape management or a related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
