Job Summary In accordance with the policies, procedure and standards of The Lind Boracay, under the supervision of the F&B Manager, the Outlet Manager / Assistant Outlet Manager is responsible for carrying out various duties to ensure that customers receive excellent service by providing the best food and drinks. Responsible for maintaining profits from food and drink sales, having excellent communication and customer service skills, maintaining a clean environment and making effective decisions when needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service; · Lead the F&B Outlet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed; · Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally; · Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs; · Attend regularly scheduled departmental meetings; · Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions; · Have full knowledge of all Outlet menus; · Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards; · Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage; · Monitor all tray and table set ups, being sure all products are well presented to the guest. Linen, china and silver must be spotless. Food must be properly garnished and fresh looking. Warm food must be kept warm, cold beverages must be served adequately chilled; · Assist in the hiring, training, evaluation, development and disciplining of departmental employees; · Monitors staff to ensure outstanding guest service is being provided to guest and handles any guest concerns or complaints; · Ensures all cashiering procedures are processed in compliance with accounting standards;
· Handles all voided checks in accordance with accounting procedures, assists servers with expediting problem payments and handles all other cashiering issues.
Ensures the restaurants are clean, organized and properly functioning and the restaurant equipment is maintained;
· As requested, assists management in performing administrative duties which may include budget control, scheduling, purchasing supplies, preparation of performance appraisals, etc; · Ensures at the end of each shift that all F&B associates have completed daily checklists and shifts closing are accurate; · Other duties as assigned.
