COORDINATOR (TRUCKING)
Major Function
Responsible for accurate monitoring and coordination of customers trucking transactions. Facilitation of documents and truck movement.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Keeps record of all Inland Trucking transactions (eg. Arrival date & time, dwell time, issues on loading)
2. Creates load plan based on details provided by customer (based on agreed truck capacity & utilization)
3. Issues trucking waybill and seals as needed
4. Ensures completeness of POD returned by drivers and escalate to immediate head for any delays.
5. Monitor status of loading and unloading of stocks and report any discrepancies.
6. Ensures preparation and issuance of Discrepancy Report (DR) and Authority to Deduct (ATD) for charging of claims to subcon truckers
7. Coordinates with customer’s personnel to initiate truck loading/unloading.
8. Adherence to relevant documented work instructions.
9. Provides updates per Transactions (text/email/call) to operations Team and Customer
