This position is responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of software systems that meets customer requirement.
The role also involves sitting within the IT team of a business, and will be involved in liaising with the Business Analysts and Development Managers to ensure software projects meet requirements.

Skills & Competency:
The competence proficiency levels required for the position of Engineering Manager are defined using the following key terms.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
Ability to learn new languages and technologies
Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. PHP, Java Script) and frameworks/systems (e.g. Laravel, Vue Js, Git).
Excellent communication skills
Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
