Te Whānau o Waipareira is looking for a passionate and dedicated Employment Administrator to join our team. This role is integral to supporting our Kaupapa Māori programme, which is designed to empower whānau to achieve their employment goals.
As the Employment Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of services that uplift and empower the West Auckland community. You will play a key role in building strong relationships with kaimahi and whānau, contributing to the holistic success of our mission.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive and proactive administrative services to support kaimahi working with whānau.
Establish and maintain trusting relationships with kaimahi and whānau, ensuring the delivery of seamless support that aligns with our Kaupapa Māori values.
Assist in the organization and execution of the programme structure, including Waiaro, Waia, and Waiora components.
Predict and respond to the administrative needs of kaimahi, manage budgets, process invoices, and provide secretariat support when required.
Uphold and promote the mana of Te Whānau o Waipareira by integrating Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori into everyday tasks and interactions.
Your Skills and Experience
A commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori.
Full Driver’s License is essential for the role.
Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within community or social services sectors.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
