Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our team in Cavan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, excellent computer skills, and experience with point of sales (POS) systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and financial processes. Key responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Accurately process payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Handle general office duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of the point of sales system, including data entry and troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with the preparation of financial statements.
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping and office administration, with specific expertise in payroll processing.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with POS systems.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
