Welder
The Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and furniture components using welding techniques. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, work with precision, and adhere to safety standards. The Welder must ensure high-quality welds and contribute to the manufacturing process by meeting production timelines.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹38,092.07 per month

Key Responsibilities:
- Welding and Fabrication:
- Perform various types of welding (MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.) on different metals such as steel, aluminum, and iron used in furniture production.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to product specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and accuracy of work, identifying any defects or weaknesses.
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and production requirements.
- Equipment Handling and Maintenance:
- Operate welding equipment, such as torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and other metalwork tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding machines and tools, and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, and protective clothing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring that safety regulations are met at all times.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members, including carpenters, machinists, and fabricators, to ensure smooth production workflow.
- Participate in production meetings and contribute to process improvements where needed.
- Documentation:
- Maintain records of completed work, including material usage and time logs, as required.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction environment (experience in the furniture industry is a plus).
- Skilled in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
- Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Proficiency in operating welding tools and equipment, including grinders, drills, and other fabrication tools.
- Attention to Detail:
- Strong focus on precision and quality in welding tasks.
- Physical Ability:
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Problem-Solving:
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot welding issues during the fabrication process.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Welding certification from a recognized institution (preferred but not mandatory).
- Work in a factory or workshop environment, with exposure to heat, noise, fumes, and heavy equipment.
- Must adhere to strict safety guidelines and work in potentially hazardous conditions.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹38,092.07 per month
