IT Support Technician
Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Camera Configuration and Networking Specialist to join our team. This role involves the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems, as well as hardware networking, router installation, LAN setup, and software installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month

Key Responsibilities:
- CCTV Camera Configuration:
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV camera systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Conduct site assessments to determine camera placement and system requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to camera functionality and connectivity.
- Hardware Networking:
- Set up and configure networking hardware, including switches, routers, and access points.
- Implement and manage LAN networks, ensuring seamless connectivity for all devices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Router Installation:
- Install and configure routers and firewalls according to best practices.
- Ensure secure network access and protect against unauthorized use.
- Regularly update firmware and software to maintain security standards.
- Software Installation:
- Install and configure necessary software for CCTV systems, networking devices, and client systems.
- Document software configurations and maintain accurate records.
- Other Support:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and updates to ensure system reliability.
- Prepare reports on system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Proven experience in CCTV installation and configuration.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with various CCTV software and hardware platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Comp TIA Network+, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
