Pattern Making Master
JOB DESCRIPTION OF A PATTERN MAKING MASTER:
Pattern Development: Create initial garment patterns based on designer sketches or concepts.
· Pattern Grading: Scale patterns up or down to create various sizes while maintaining proportions.
· Fit Evaluation: Collaborate with designers, sample makers, and fit models to perfect garment fit and shape.
· Technical Specifications: Prepare detailed technical specifications for each pattern, including seam allowances, notches, and labels.
· Pattern Alterations: Modify patterns as needed based on feedback from fit sessions and sample production
· Quality Assurance: Conduct pattern reviews to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
· Documentation: Maintain organized records of all patterns and revisions.
· Work closely with design, production, and sample-making teams to ensure accurate interpretation of designs into patterns.
· Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in pattern making.
· Education: Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Manufacturing, or related field. Additional coursework in pattern making is preferred.
· Experience: Several years of experience as a Pattern Maker or Pattern Master in the fashion industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
