A leading Fintech company is currently seeking an experienced "Senior Data Engineer " to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the data architecture and analytics capabilities of our fintech services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, utilizing your extensive experience in data engineering to optimize data pipelines and ensure the reliability and scalabilities of our data systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructures, workflows, and databases, which will support our fintech applications and analytics teams. Your insights will lead to improved business decisions and innovative product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for seamless data integration.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide appropriate data solutions.
- Ensure high data quality and reliability by establishing best practices for data governance and management.
- Optimize existing data processes for maximum efficiency and performance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify data-related business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real time.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and fintech.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in the fintech sector.
- Proficiency with data pipeline tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data storage solutions (e.g., SQL, No SQL, data lakes).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
