We are looking for a IP Support Engineer that will provide technical service and support to our customers. In this role, you will fix and resolve problems to stabilize and optimize customer networks. You will configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks.
You will be taking care of customers, technical staff, operation managers, service engineers and other groups within the Service Delivery organization. You may also get along with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd party suppliers and local authorities. As there are no distinct borders between the areas, you will need to be flexible and master more than one area. You are encouraged to travel internationally and work in different cultural environments. The technical development is rapid and you'll be offered the opportunity of continuously keeping your competence and skills up to date. A broad knowledge within telecom and Datacom, covering both hardware, software, and network knowledge is required for this role. The candidate will also collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as customers and suppliers to Ericsson. This role more than often will require from you to tackle big responsibilities within Ericsson. What you will do
Customer Management and Issue handling
Handling of dedicated support
Software Update Management (SUM) handling
Packet Core knowledge is preferrable.
What you will bring
Education: Min. bachelor’s degree in engineering (IT, Telecom) or Equivalent
Demonstrated ability: (IP Networking) at least 7-8 years.
Very good knowledge of Ericsson MPBN system, IPOS SSR, Juniper Products, Smart edge Series
Good Understanding of JUNIPER/NETSCREEN; JUNIPER/PTX PRODUCTS; JUNIPER/SRX PRODUCTS
Knowledge of Extreme Products
Excellent IP background
Good Knowledge of RSG and CAS, In addition to Linux, CISCO, Fortinet, F5, HP, Extreme, Juniper, Firewall, Switches, and Routers
Excellent presentation, and argumentation skills
Delivering results and meeting customer expectations with excellent planning and organizing skills.
