Responsible for directing and managing the Corporate Accounts Payable (AP) staff to provide accurate and timely processing and disbursement of vendor obligations as well as travel and expense reimbursements and ensure the integrity of the data in the financial accounting system
The leadership of the Accounts Payable staff includes hiring, training, assigning, and directing the staff's work flow.
Establish internal controls and procedures to protect the assets of the company and determine new controls or procedures that address the growth of the company.
Interacts on a regular basis with upper management and external customers as well as other internal customer departments to integrate solutions that meet the company's goals both financially and operationally.
Preparation of account reconciliations and accruals, disaster recovery planning and month end closing deadlines
Coordination of the SSC AP Team.
Meet deadlines, own and of the team "Scorecard".
Analysis of balance sheet accounts of assigned clients and the team “Black Line”.
Promote continuous improvements and standardization of processes.
Develop team capabilities.
Promote formal training.
Comprehensive report on customer operations.
Mexico Regional Tax Analysis.
Provide and analyze the information in the different information systems, to issue consolidated reports.
Comprehensive and consolidated control and monitoring of accounts payable.
Account Payable reconciliation and corporate monthly closing.
Requirements:
4+ years' experience of accounts payable processing experience.
2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.
Advanced English communication level.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Microsoft Office
Demonstrate experience with project management and process improvement.
Proven systems integration experience including planning, evaluation and implementation.
Experience in an electronic accounts payable processing environment. Experience in a multi-location company is preferred.
Experience with Purchasing & Corporate Cards is preferred.
Knowledge of Mexico taxes requirements and payment complements is preferred.
