Duties and Responsibilities · Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads · Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams · Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients · Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions · Work within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities · Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs · Attend Sales events, as required · Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads · Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner · Receive leads and correspond directly with clients to present the hotel's features and qualify inquires to allow the sales manager to match them with the hotel's stated business objectives. · Prepare prospecting lists and targets as directed by the ADOS and/or the Sales Mangers as directed. · Update the hotels on the negotiation / progress of every business deal and use the technology available for reports, communication and client correspondences · Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails · Prepare and arrange for site inspections and meet clients domestically and externally · Closely Monitor Accounts Revenue and business production for the Corporate Accounts and maintain up to date Account & Contact Database in property management system · Gather market and customer information Job Type: Full-time Experience:
